Praise Be To God

As we step into a new year, we're reminded of the profound impact of putting God first in our lives. The sermon draws a powerful parallel between our reactions to impending weather and our response to Christ's return. Just as we prepare for snow, shouldn't we be even more diligent in preparing our hearts for Jesus? This message challenges us to reevaluate our priorities and make God the center of our universe. The imagery of God using the entire universe as His throne and Earth as His footstool (Isaiah 66:1-2) humbles us, reminding us of His magnificence and our place in His grand design. As we reflect on this, we're called to offer our devotion as the most precious gift we can give to our Creator. The theme of 'living the church' rather than just 'being the church' emerges as a powerful call to action, urging us to not merely possess knowledge of our faith, but to actively embody it in our daily lives.
